• L-methionine - acidifies urine (pH 5.0 - 5.5) and acts as an inhibitor in the development of most bacteria. A single dose of 1.5g of L-methionine causes a significant acidification of the urine for at least 8 hours
• L-methionine + L-ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) have a bactericidal effect: it stimulates the transformation of nitrites in the urine into nitric acid, a powerful bactericide that acts on many of the bacteria that cause urinary infections
• L-ascorbic acid enhances the bactericidal action of nitrites
• D-mannose - Inhibits the adhesion of bacteria and can help to remove pathogens from the epithelium of the urinary tract
• Calcium citrate helps stop systemic acidification: Calcium citrate is an alkalinizer that balances systemic acidity caused by L-methionine without affecting urine acidity.

Way of ussage:

• The contents of one sachet dissolve in water, fruit juice or milk
• Consume 1 sachet/day.

Each sachet of UTI-Free contains 1.5 g L-methionine, 1 g L-ascorbic acid, 1.5 g D-mannose, 15 mEq Calcium Citrate.
