Indications for use
Available in capsule or oil solution form, Biomicin is a versatile product that can be used in a variety of situations. For example, it can be administered during periods of colds and flu, when the immune system is weakened and we are more vulnerable to infections.
It is also useful in cases of urinary or respiratory tract infections, such as bronchitis or sinusitis.
Dosage and administration
Biomicin Forte includes both capsules and solution and contains essential oils of thyme and cloves, which have an antibacterial and expectorant effect and strengthen the body's immune system. Cloves help maintain the health of the oral cavity, throat and respiratory tract. The capsules are taken one hour after meals, while the solution is administered in drops (3-4 drops 3 times/day, mixed with a spoonful of honey). For effective external treatment, 10-15 minute inhalations (3-4 drops of essential oil in a bowl of hot water) or diffusion in the room (5 drops in the diffuser water) are recommended.
Biomicin solution with essential oils can also be used externally, in the form of inhalations, diffused in the room or through massage, depending on our needs. Inhaling the vapours or diffusing the solution in the room can help clear the airways and relieve symptoms of nasal congestion or cough.
Contraindications
There are also a number of contraindications for Biomicin. Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Biomicin Forte is not recommended for active gastro-duodenal ulcers, acute gastritis, during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Also, the essential oil solution should not be given to children under 7 years of age, while the capsules are not recommended for children under 10 years of age.
