Description Diurosept
The information in the FAQ section was created by the Liki24.co.uk team and is based on the official manufacturer's manual
Diurosept is a complex phytotherapeutic dietary supplement formulated by Fares to support urinary tract health by combining plants with diuretic, antiseptic and antioxidant properties. The active ingredients in Diurosept Fares work synergistically to maintain kidney function, reduce mild inflammation of the urinary tract and increase the body's ability to defend itself against pathogens.
Forms of release
Diurosept is available in several forms of release, suitable for different user needs: capsules, tea or tincture.
Diurosept capsules U68 contain standardised extracts of cranberry, juniper, olive leaves, cloves, calamus and blueberry fruit. The capsules are intended for oral administration and have an animal gelatin coating.
Diurosept tea U62 is a mixture of dried herbs for infusion, containing cranberry and birch leaves, cherry stems, poplar buds, horsetail, juniper berries, hawthorn, pear rhizomes, corn silk and lavender flowers.
Indications for use
Diurosept with cranberry is recommended in the following situations:
- Supporting the health of the urinary tract, especially the kidneys and bladder;
- Reducing the risk of recurrent urinary tract infections;
- Supporting the natural process of fluid elimination from the body;
- Protecting the urinary tract against pathogenic microorganisms;
- Antioxidant and antiseptic effect due to its content of proanthocyanidins, oleuropein, essential oils and flavonoids.
Dosage regimen
The dosage regimen depends on the form of release, the age of the users and the doctor's instructions.
Diurosept capsules:
- Children aged 6–14: 1 capsule twice a day, between meals.
- Children over 14 and adults: 1 capsule three times a day, between meals.
In acute or severe cases, up to 6 capsules per day may be administered on the recommendation of a specialist.
Diurosept tea:
- Children aged 3–12 years: 2–3 cups of tea per day.
- Adults and children over 12 years: 4–6 cups per day, between meals.
Prepare by infusing one teaspoon of Diurosept Fares tea in 200 ml of boiling water for 10 minutes.
Contraindications
Diurosept is contraindicated in:
- Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of the product;
- Administration to children under 3 years of age (for tea) and under 6 years of age (for capsules);
- Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding (for capsules) is contraindicated due to the potential uterine stimulant and transfer of active substances into breast milk.
Special instructions
Administration between meals is essential for optimal absorption of the active ingredients.
It is recommended to combine with a balanced diet and adequate hydration (minimum 2 litres of fluid/day) for maximum effectiveness.
Diurosept can be used in combination with other natural products, such as Biomicin Urinar or Biosept, in sequential treatments for an increased antimicrobial and immunostimulatory effect.
Side effects
No significant adverse effects have been reported at the recommended doses. However, people with digestive sensitivity may experience minor gastrointestinal discomfort, and those allergic to the plant ingredients should avoid the product.
Interactions with other medicines and foods
No significant interactions between Diurosept and other medicines have been reported. However, as it is a product with a diuretic effect, caution is recommended when combining it with synthetic diuretics or medicines that are eliminated by the kidneys.
It is recommended to consult a doctor in case of concomitant treatments.
Overdose
In case of excessive administration, gastrointestinal symptoms such as diarrhoea or abdominal discomfort may occur.
In such cases, it is recommended to discontinue administration and consult a doctor.
Storage conditions
Diurosept should be stored at temperatures below 25°C, away from moisture, direct light and out of the reach of children. After opening, the tea should be stored in the original packaging, tightly closed, to prevent degradation of the active ingredients.
