Priorin

Priorin is available in soft gelatin capsules, packaged in boxes of 60 units. Each capsule contains a complex of carefully dosed ingredients with high bioavailability, designed to be rapidly absorbed in the intestine. 

The capsules have an oily content, which includes millet extract, wheat germ oil, L-cystine, biotin and calcium pantothenate – compounds essential for keratin synthesis and follicular regeneration.

Priorin Bayer is recommended in the following situations:

• Diffuse hair loss (caused by stress, fatigue, hormonal imbalances or nutritional deficiencies);
• Thinning and brittle hair, with a tendency to break;
• Postpartum or post-anaesthesia regeneration periods, when the hair cycle is affected;
• Strengthening and improving the appearance of hair in cases of restrictive, vegetarian or vegan diets, which can lead to a deficiency of sulphur amino acids and biotin;
• Maintenance and stimulation of hair growth in dermato-cosmetic treatments for androgenic alopecia.

The recommended dose for adults and children over 12 years of age is two capsules per day, taken with a glass of water after a meal. The capsules can be taken at the same time or at different times of the day, depending on the user's preference.

The duration of treatment with Priorin capsules varies depending on the severity of the symptoms, but a minimum of 3 months is recommended, given the physiological cycle of hair growth (anagen phase). 

Priorin is contraindicated in people with known hypersensitivity to any of its components, especially cereal extracts (millet, wheat) or pantothenic acid derivatives. 

The product is also not recommended for use in children under 12 years of age due to insufficient clinical data on safety and efficacy.

While taking Priorin, it is recommended to maintain a balanced diet rich in protein, essential fatty acids and B vitamins to support the product's effectiveness. The product does not replace a varied diet but acts as a nutritional supplement.

If hair loss persists or worsens, a dermatological consultation is recommended to rule out systemic causes (e.g. thyroid dysfunction, severe iron deficiency or autoimmune disorders).

Priorin is generally well tolerated. Adverse reactions are rare and may include:

• Mild digestive disorders (nausea, abdominal discomfort, bloating);
• Allergic skin reactions (rash, itching) in people sensitive to wheat or biotin;

If any unusual reactions occur, treatment should be discontinued and medical advice sought.

To date, no significant drug interactions have been reported for Priorin. 

However, given its biotin content, caution is advised in patients undergoing hormone tests (especially TSH, FT4, FT3), as biotin may interfere with the results.

No cases of acute or chronic overdose with Priorin have been reported. In case of accidental ingestion of a large number of capsules, symptomatic monitoring and supportive treatment are recommended. The active ingredients have a high safety margin, as they are essential nutrients for cellular metabolism.

Priorin should be stored at room temperature (below 25°C), away from light, moisture and direct sources of heat. It is recommended to store it in its original packaging to protect the capsules from oxidation. Keep out of the reach of children.
