Xiloial is an ophthalmic solution that has a moisturising, soothing and lubricating effect. It is recommended for dry eye syndrome and its main ingredient is sodium hyaluronate.
Forms of release
Xiloial is an ophthalmic solution from Farmigea available in two variants:
- Xiloial ophthalmic solution, 10 ml, Farmigea
- Xiloial Zero sterile ophthalmic solution, 10 ml, Farmigea
Indications
Xiloial ophthalmic solution is indicated for dry eye syndrome and has a soothing, lubricating and moisturising effect. Ophthalmic solutions with sodium hyaluronate are used to treat dry eyes and relieve symptoms associated with dry eye syndrome. Sodium hyaluronate helps moisturise the surface of the eye, reducing dryness and discomfort. It also acts as a natural lubricant for the eyes and creates a protective barrier on the surface of the eye.
Dosage and administration
Xiloial ophthalmic solution is administered as 1 drop in each eye, depending on the individual needs of each person. The duration of treatment depends on several factors, such as the health of the eyes and the severity of any problems.
Contraindications
Xiloial drops are contraindicated in case of allergy or sensitivity to any of the product's ingredients.
Interactions with other medicines and food
Xiloial is generally a safe product and there are no known interactions with medicines or food. If you are using other eye products as directed by your doctor, administer them at a distance from Xiloial.
