The product contains a standardized, specially ground extract from the rhizome of turmeric (Curcuma longa), commonly known as turmeric. The extract from the rhizome of this plant contains a set of active compounds (curcuminoids), the majority of which is curcumin (56.9%) Turmeric is important for the human body because: it supports the maintenance of nervous and mental balance and the functioning of the nervous system; has significant antioxidant properties; helps maintain the efficiency of the immune system; supports blood production and maintains its proper composition; supports the functioning of the heart and circulatory system; helps maintain the health of the lungs and upper respiratory tract; liver and skin health, good condition of muscles and joints, limits the process of fat accumulation in the liver and facilitates their removal; facilitates digestion (especially of fats). Research has shown that consumption of piperine-enriched turmeric extract significantly increases the physiological availability of curcumin.
