The Novama Neo is a thermometer that allows for testing from three different locations: the mouth, the anus, and the armpit. The device measures temperature quickly and precisely. Its colorful casing makes it stand out from traditional thermometers of this type.

How to use a medical device

1. Press the ON/OFF button next to the screen. The device will beep and display the last measurement. The thermometer will then enter measurement standby mode.
2. Select and place a thermometer in the chosen location. Depending on the chosen location, proceed as follows: Oral temperature measurement: Place the thermometer probe in your mouth, under your tongue. To ensure accuracy, keep your mouth closed and breathe comfortably through your nose. The normal temperature range for this method is 35.7-37.3°C. Rectal temperature measurement: Before taking a measurement, lubricate the probe tip with petroleum jelly to facilitate insertion into the rectum. Gently insert the probe approximately 1 cm into the rectum. The normal temperature range for this method is 36.2-37.7°C.
3. During the measurement, the measurement unit symbol will flash on the screen. When the symbol stops flashing, an audible alarm will sound and the measurement results will be displayed.
4. Remember to maintain the minimum measurement time until the beep sounds. The measurement continues even after the beep if the thermometer is still in the measurement location.

Contraindications and precautions

Before use, read the product instructions or label.
Store at room temperature. Protect from light and moisture.
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not use if the packaging has been previously opened or damaged.

Exercise caution during use. Do not drop the device, as it is not shock-resistant. Do not bend the thermometer. Do not immerse the tip in boiling water. Protect the thermometer from sunlight.

Do not attempt to disassemble the device, except to replace the battery.
