Resource® Protein is a nutritionally complete liquid diet, rich in protein.

The strawberry-flavored product is a food for special medical purposes.

The nutritional preparation can be used in malnutrition states and/or in cases of risk of malnutrition, which may be accompanied by an increased protein requirement associated with the disease.

Resource® Protein formula works well as a food supplement or as the sole source of nutrition for cancer patients, the elderly, as well as in the perioperative period and during convalescence.

Liquid preparation suitable for adults and children over 3 years of age.

Indications:

Food for special medical purposes for the dietary management of patients with increased protein requirements, for example

• cancer disease
• loss of muscle mass
• convalescence period
• loss of appetite.

Ingredients:

Water, milk proteins, glucose syrup, sucrose, vegetable oil (rapeseed), minerals (potassium chloride, potassium citrate, sodium citrate, magnesium citrate, magnesium oxide, ferrous sulfate, zinc sulfate, manganese sulfate, copper sulfate, sodium fluoride, chromium (III) chloride), potassium chloride, sodium selenate, emulsifier sodium molybdenum (E471), flavor, starch, vitamins (C, E, niacin, pantothenic acid, B6, A, B1, B2, folic acid, K, biotin, D), stabilizer (carrageenan), color (E120).

How to use: 

• As complementary feeding: 1-3 bottles per day
• As sole source of nutrition: as directed by a physician
• For oral or gavage administration
• Best served cold.

Contraindications:

• Hypersensitivity to any ingredient of the product
• Do not give to children under 3 years of age.

Warnings:

• Keep the container closed in a cool and dry place
• After opening, close the unused portion
• Store in the refrigerator and use within 24 hours
• Portions of the product that have been poured into another container should be tightly closed and consumed within 6 hours
• Use under medical supervision
• Suitable for use as the sole source of nutrition
• The product is not intended for parenteral use
• Do not use in people who have not been diagnosed with the above-mentioned medical conditions, health disorders or who do not have medical indications for its use
