The curved, star-shaped baseplate tightly adapts to bulges, hernias, and curves. The wafer's radiuses adhere to the body without wrinkling or creasing. The new, circular filter includes a unique pre-filter designed to eliminate the problem of "ballooning." The pre-filter protects the carbon filter and membrane, as both are highly susceptible to fecal contamination. The circular filter is less likely to clog, allowing airflow for longer.
