Vagisan HydroKrém is a cream in the form of suppositories, which after insertion dissolves in the vagina, absorbs the existing vaginal secretion and thus creates a velvety and nourishing cream. In this way, the difficulties caused by dryness in the vaginal area due to various causes (eg dryness, burning, itching, minor wounds and pain) can be alleviated.

The suppository contains added lactic acid buffer and calcium lactate, which makes the cream created in the vagina have a pH value (acidity value) of about 4.5. Since the normal pH value in the vagina is 3.8 to 4.5, the lactic acid buffer system in the preparation helps to maintain a healthy environment in the vagina.

It does not contain hormones and therefore it is possible to use it together with hormone replacement therapy or alternate with vaginal creams or suppositories containing hormones (estrogens). Regular use of the drug can have positive effects in preventing irritation and inflammation of the vagina.

Mode of use

The suppository is intended for vaginal application. Vaginal suppositories are inserted as deeply as possible into the vagina (preferably before going to bed). It is easiest to apply the product lying on your back with your legs slightly bent. After application, we recommend using a panty towel.

Daily use is recommended initially. After alleviating the difficulties, the number of applications can be reduced as necessary, e.g. 2-3 times a week. With good tolerability, the preparation can be used for a long time without worries, even during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
