Product purpose

Vectra Felis is used to treat and prevent flea infestations in cats. The product is designed to eliminate adult fleas and inhibit the development of immature fleas. It can be used as part of a treatment for flea allergy dermatitis and to prevent parasitic infestations in cats that spend time outdoors or have contact with other animals.

Product characteristics

Vectra Felis works by contact on adult fleas (Ctenocephalides felis), eliminating them within hours of application. Dinotefuran destroys the parasites' nervous system, causing their rapid death, while pyriproxyfen inhibits the development of eggs, larvae, and pupae, preventing the emergence of new fleas in the cat's environment. The product provides protection against re-infestation for one month and prevents flea multiplication for three months. It can be used as part of a supportive therapy for flea allergy dermatitis.

Product use

This product is intended for topical use only on the skin. Empty the contents of one applicator onto the back of the cat's neck, at the base of the neck, parting the fur so that the product reaches the skin directly. This product is intended for cats weighing 0.6 to 10 kg. Use no more than once a month. Do not bathe your cat immediately after application to avoid reducing its effectiveness.

Notes and precautions

Do not use on kittens under 8 weeks of age or on animals weighing less than 0.6 kg. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substances or excipients. Avoid contact of the product with the eyes, mouth, or mucous membranes of the cat. Wash your hands after application and do not pet the animal until the product dries. Do not use on dogs or other animal species.
