Cetilar is a topical product designed to relieve joint and muscle pain and is often used to treat inflammation and discomfort caused by conditions such as osteoarthritis, tendinitis or muscle injuries.
The main active ingredient in Cetilar is cetylated fatty acids, known for their anti-inflammatory properties and ability to improve the mobility of affected joints.
Forms of release
Cetilar is available as a cream, used for external application. The cream has a light texture, absorbs quickly and does not leave a greasy film on the skin.
It is packaged in a 50 ml tube which makes it easy to apply to areas affected by joint, muscle or tendon pain.
Indications for use
Cetilar cream is indicated for the relief of joint, muscle pain and discomfort associated with inflammation in joints, muscles or tendons.
It is useful for osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, tendonitis, bursitis, sprains, muscle strains and other rheumatic conditions.
Thanks to its cetylated fatty acids, Cetilar reduces inflammation and joint stiffness, improving mobility and quality of life for patients with joint problems.
Dosage regimen
Cetilar cream is recommended for therapeutic massage, external use only.
Apply a small amount of cream directly to the affected area, massaging gently until completely absorbed. You can apply twice a day.
Contraindications
Cetilar cream should not be used by people who are allergic to any of its ingredients.
Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult a doctor before using the product, as there are not enough studies on the safety of using cetylated fatty acids in these situations.
In children under 12 years of age, it is advisable to seek medical advice before applying this product.
Features of use
Important! Apply only to intact skin and avoid using the product in the presence of active skin infections or on irritated, inflamed or injured areas of skin.
Wash hands after application to prevent contact with eyes or other sensitive areas.
Side-effects
Side effects are rare, but in isolated cases, hypersensitivity reactions or irritation at the site of application may occur, manifested by redness, itching or burning.
In case of allergic reactions, it is recommended to stop using the product immediately and consult a doctor.
Interactions with other medicines and foods
No significant interactions between Cetilar and other medicines have been identified.
However, it is advisable to inform your doctor or pharmacist about the medicines you are still taking to avoid potential interactions.
Overdose
As a topical product, the risk of overdose is very low. However, applying too much to the skin may cause irritation or discomfort.
