Theratuss is available in two distinct pharmaceutical forms, tailored to patient preferences and needs:

• Theratuss ProNatural syrup – is a medical device intended to relieve dry and productive coughs.
• Theratuss Natural tablets (16 tablets) – provide a practical solution for combating throat discomfort, hoarseness and pharyngeal inflammation.

Theratuss syrup is recommended for the relief of both dry and productive coughs, thanks to its soothing and emollient action on the irritated mucous membranes of the respiratory tract. Its action is based on a patented blend of polysaccharide and polyphenolic fractions from plantain, marshmallow and elderberry.

Theratuss lozenges are recommended for soothing sore throats and provide effective support for strengthening local and systemic immunity. Thanks to its rich content of medicinal plants with anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties, the product helps to ease breathing in cases of mild congestion.

For Theratuss syrup, the dosage regimen varies according to age.

• Children aged 1 to 6 years are recommended to take 5 ml (one measuring spoon) twice a day.
• Children over 6 years of age can take 10 ml (two measuring spoons), administered twice a day.
• For adults, the usual dose is 10 ml two to three times a day.

For Theratuss tablets, the recommended dose for adults and children aged 6 years and older is one tablet every 3–4 hours. For children aged 5 to 6 years, the maximum number of tablets is three per day.

The use of products from the Theratuss range is contraindicated in the following situations:

• Known hypersensitivity to the medicinal plants included in the composition
• Allergy to honey, essential oils or other excipients
• Children under 5 years of age for the tablet form

Important! Pay attention to the sugar content – approximately 4.52 g per teaspoon of syrup, which requires caution in cases of diabetes mellitus.

The bottle of Theratuss Pro natural syrup must be shaken well before each use, and the measuring spoon used must be cleaned thoroughly after each administration.

Theratuss Natural lozenges should be allowed to dissolve slowly in the mouth without chewing or swallowing to ensure a gradual and effective release of the active substances into the pharyngeal mucosa.

Although Theratuss is generally well tolerated, the following may occur in rare cases:

• Skin or respiratory allergic reactions (itching, rash, nasal congestion)
• Mild digestive disorders (nausea, bloating)

Any suspected adverse reactions should be reported to and evaluated by a healthcare professional.

Theratuss has no known interactions with other medicines or food.

However, if you are undergoing treatment for severe chronic conditions, it is advisable to discuss any other supplements you are taking with your doctor.

To date, no cases of overdose with Theratuss have been reported. However, gastrointestinal disorders may occur if an excessive dose is taken.

In case of overdose, adequate hydration and, in severe cases, emergency medical assistance are recommended.

Theratuss should be stored at room temperature, between 15–25°C, away from direct light and heat sources. It is essential that the product is kept out of the reach of children.

In syrup form, it should be used within 3 months of first opening the bottle.
