The power of buds

The mountain pine (Pinus mugo): botanically belongs to the conifers and is found in larger numbers primarily in alpine regions and in low mountain ranges.

The grapevine (Vitis vinifera): originally comes from the floodplain forests of southeastern Europe, the Danube and the Upper Rhine. It contains, among other things, valuable plant compounds such as flavonoids, polyphenols and oligomeric proanthocyanidins, better known as OPCs.

The silver birch (Betula alba) is a birch species widely distributed from Europe to Asia. This birch species is primarily found at forest edges or in clearings and grows best in acidic soil. The buds of the silver birch contain polyphenols, amino acids, and enzymes.

The blackcurrant (Ribes nigrum): belongs to the gooseberry family and is native to European and Asian woodlands. The thornless shrub grows to between one and two meters tall and, when in bloom, bears yellowish-green leaves with brownish-red edges.
