Description
In both endurance and short-duration, high-intensity sports, the body undergoes a certain amount of muscle damage due to the thousands of contractions and high intensity that muscle fibers endure during the activity. EXPLIVAR® PLUS contains 535 mg of atomized Polypodium leucotomos extract per serving and is additive-free. Various doctoral theses and published studies on Polypodium leucotomos have examined biochemical parameters that measure muscle damage, such as cortisol and creatine phosphokinase (CPK), observing a significant reduction (p<0.05) in these markers in the group that ingested the plant extract. It contains isomaltulose, a disaccharide carbohydrate composed of glucose and fructose, which, through an enzymatic process, achieves a low glycemic index, lower than that of common sucrose, allowing for slow assimilation of these sugars.
Instructions for use
Dissolve 15 g (1 scoop) in 150 ml of water. Measuring scoop included. RECOMMENDED DOSAGE: For a microcycle during a competition, training session, or demanding event, take 1 serving before breakfast, lunch, and dinner 2 days before the competition, on the day of the competition, and 2 days after.
Ingredients
Isomaltulose* (Palatinose®), spray-dried extract of Polypodium leucotomos aerial parts (frond). *Isomaltulose is a source of glucose and fructose.
