Lithoren® Duo is a dietary supplement, gluten and lactose free, containing potassium citrate, sodium citrate, magnesium citrate and vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride).

Benefits:
Prevention of kidney stone formation: Potassium citrate and sodium citrate contribute to the prevention of urine supersaturation with oxalate and calcium phosphate, reducing the risk of insoluble stone formation.
Increasing the solubility of calcium oxalate and phosphate: The calcium citrate formed is soluble in water, facilitating elimination from the body.
Inhibition of crystal growth: Magnesium citrate converts calcium oxalate to the more soluble magnesium oxalate and prevents the growth of calcium phosphate crystals.
Regulation of oxalate production: Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) helps to inhibit the natural production of oxalate, reducing its accumulation in the body.

Mode of administration:
1. For the elimination of small stones (1-5 mm) or renal microlithiasis 2 sachets LITHOREN® DUO per day, morning and evening, for 1 month then continuation with LITHOREN®, 2 sachets/day for 2 months or until complete removal.
2. In case of indication for lithotripsy:
BEFORE -2 LITHOREN® DUO sachets per day, morning and evening for 1 month;
AFTER – 2 sachets of LITHOREN® DUO per day, morning and evening, for 1 month then continuation with LITHOREN®, 2 sachets/day for 2 months.
3. For patients with predisposition or frequent relapses: 2 LITHOREN® sachets per day, for 3 months, 2 courses per year.

Precautions:
During treatment with LITHOREN® DUO sachets, some people may experience minor gastrointestinal disturbances and/or diarrhea. These symptoms can be alleviated by taking the product during meals or by lowering the dose.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding: There are no in vivo or in vitro studies demonstrating that the administration of LITHOREN® DUO sachets causes effects that produce malformations in the fetus or sterility in women. The product is administered to pregnant women only on the recommendation of the specialist doctor.
Children and adolescents: LITHOREN® DUO sachets can only be administered on the recommendation of a specialist, with the dose adjusted according to body weight.
The product contains sucralose, a sweetener that can also be administered to diabetic patients.
Does not contain sodium chloride
