Haritaki

Haritaki from Herba Ayurvedica is available in the form of capsules, each containing 500 mg of powder and decoction from the fruit of Terminalia chebula.

These capsules are packaged in bottles containing 60 capsules, providing a treatment for approximately 20 days at the recommended dosage.

Haritaki (Terminalia chebula) has digestive, antioxidant, antiviral, antibacterial and hepatoprotective properties, contributing to normal intestinal transit, neutralising excess gastric juices and detoxifying the body. It also has revitalising, diuretic, cardioprotective and adaptogenic effects, supporting overall tone and resistance to stress.

Haritaki is recommended in the following conditions:

• Constipation: thanks to its mild laxative properties, it facilitates normal intestinal transit.
• Flatulence: helps eliminate intestinal gas.
• Gastric hyperacidity: helps neutralise excess gastric juices.
• Herpes: due to its antiviral effects (including on the herpes simplex virus).
• General low tone: supports the revitalisation of the body through its tonic and antioxidant properties.

The recommended dose for adults is 1 capsule taken 3 times a day or as directed by a doctor.

The capsules should be taken with sufficient water. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

The product is not recommended in the following situations:

• Pregnancy and breastfeeding - due to the lack of clear information on safety in these conditions
• Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients or excipients
• Scheduled surgery - stop taking the product at least 2 weeks before the operation.

If you suffer from serious chronic diseases, it is advisable to consult your doctor before taking this food supplement.

It is essential not to exceed the recommended daily dose. The product should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet or a healthy lifestyle.

• Stomach discomfort or diarrhoea if taken in excessive amounts.

Haritaki can lower blood sugar levels, and taking it at the same time as antidiabetic medicines can cause hypoglycaemia. Careful monitoring of blood sugar levels is necessary.

Haritaki can influence the metabolism of omeprazole, increasing the risk of side effects.

It is recommended to consult a doctor if taking other medicines at the same time.

In case of overdose, symptoms such as severe diarrhoea, abdominal cramps and electrolyte imbalances may occur. Seek medical help immediately in such cases.

The product should be stored at room temperature in a dry place away from light. It should also be kept out of the reach of children. Observe the expiry date stated on the packaging.
