• Elevit®1 contains 800 µg folates (folic acid and Metafolin®). Folate plays a role in cell division, supports the growth of maternal tissue during pregnancy and reduces the risk of neural tube defects in the fetus
• Elevit®1 also contains folic acid in the form of bioactive folate, called calcium L-methylfolate (Metafolin®).
• The balanced combination of folic acid and Metafolin® helps to maintain optimal levels of folic acid in all women in the pre-conception period or during the first trimester of pregnancy.

Minimizing fatigue

• Iron, vitamin B6 and vitamin B12 help reduce fatigue and physical exhaustion. Iron is involved in the normal formation of red blood cells (erythrocytes), which are necessary for the transport of oxygen in the body.

The immune system and cellular protection

• During preconception or during pregnancy, the optimal functioning of the immune system is of particular importance. Elevit®1 contains vitamin C, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, copper and folates, which help the normal functioning of the immune system. Vitamin C, copper and selenium are very important antioxidants that help protect cells against oxidative stress (reactive oxygen, which can damage cell structures).

Fertility and hormonal activity

• Elevit®1 contains zinc, important in the regulation of female hormones, estrogen and progesterone, with a direct impact on female fertility

• Iodine is an important constituent of thyroid hormones. These hormones maintain the body's metabolic state and support normal growth and development.

Composition:

One film-coated tablet of Elevit®1 contains active ingredients: calcium carbonate; bulking agent: microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium oxide; L-ascorbic acid; gelling agent: hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, hydroxypropyl cellulose, polyethylene glycol, sucrose esters of fatty acids, ferrous fumarate; zinc citrate; colour: calcium carbonate; niacin; dl-alpha-tocopheryl acetate; sodium selenium; rice starch; calcium D-pantothenate; manganese sulphate; beta-carotene; potassium iodide; pyridoxine hydrochloride; cupric sulphate; thiamine mononitrate; riboflavin; folic acid (calcium L-methylfolate, pteroylmonoglutamic acid); cyanocobalamin; D-biotin.

Administration method:
