MCT CREAM

Description
Food for special medical purposes. Indicated for the dietary management of fat metabolism disorders (fat maldigestion and malabsorption), long-chain fatty acid oxidation disorders, as well as in the context of a ketogenic diet*, in drug-resistant epilepsies and in rare disorders of cerebral energy metabolism, such as glucose transporter 1 deficiency (GLUT1 deficiency) and pyruvate dehydrogenase deficiency (PDH deficiency), and in all other cases requiring a supplemental intake of MCT fats.
*Ketogenic diets are high-fat, low-carb diets that simulate the metabolic state of fasting. Cream high in medium-chain fatty acids, with sweetener.

Ingredients
Vegetable oil 52% (medium chain triglycerides from palm and coconut fat), water, mustard [ mustard seeds, water, apple vinegar, sea salt, mixed spices (turmeric, pepper, ginger, garlic, coriander seeds, cumin, celery , cinnamon, raw cane sugar)], wine vinegar, sea salt, pea protein; thickener: guar gum; herb-flavored oil (high oleic sunflower oil, lemon oil); sweetener: saccharin.

Warnings
For use under medical supervision. Suitable for children 3 years and older. Not suitable as a sole nutritional source. Not suitable for people not suffering from the conditions mentioned. Do not use parenterally. Contraindications: Not suitable for those with suspected ketoacidosis/metabolic acidosis, decompensated liver cirrhosis, or medium-chain acyl-CoA dehydrogenase (MCAD) deficiency.
The recommended dose depends on your age, body weight, and medical condition and should be determined by your doctor. MCT Cream should be introduced slowly into your diet, as rapid absorption of large amounts can cause vomiting or diarrhea.

Store in a cool, dry place.
Shelf life when packaged intact: 9 months.
