Artelac® Nighttime Eye Gel, 10 g, Bausch + Lomb

Artelac Nighttime eye drops are a soothing eye gel indicated in cases of dryness and discomfort due to dehydration, ensuring comfort and hydration.

Artelac Nighttime gel is a product:

• Nourishing and protective lubricant

It is formulated to provide support to all three layers of the tear film, including the outer layer, which is richest in lipids.

It covers the tear film with a high-viscosity gel, designed to remain on the surface of the eye and retain hydration.

Lubricates the eyes, soothes and relieves the symptoms of chronic lacrimal dysfunction, such as dry eyes, burning sensation, tired eyes, blurred vision and even eyes with excessive tear secretion.

Action:

• Carbomer or carbopol is a synthetic substance that is widely used in cosmetics as a thickening agent, viscosifier, emulsion stabilizer. It is widely used because it is very stable, economical and easy to use and gives a “pleasant” cosmetic sensation

Composition:

• 1 g of Artelac Nighttime Gel contains 2 mg of carbomer, medium chain triglycerides, together with sterile water, sorbitol and sodium hydroxide

How to use:

• Remove the protective cap from the top of the tube before use
• Make sure not to touch the top of the tube with your fingers
• Tilt your head back slightly and gently pull your lower eyelid with a finger of your free hand and hold the tube vertically above your eye with the nozzle pointing down. Then gently squeeze the tube to place a drop of gel
• Avoid touching the top of the tube to your eye with your fingers to avoid any possible contamination of the solution
• Replace the cap on the tube after each use.

Precautions and warnings:

• If you use Artelac Nighttime gel during the day, wait until your vision returns to normal before using machinery or driving
• In rare cases, this product may cause hypersensitivity reactions, such as local allergic reactions
• In these cases, treatment should be stopped
• Do not use the product if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients
• If you use different ophthalmic preparations, wait approximately 15 minutes before using the second gel drop product
• If you wear contact lenses, remove them before applying Artelac Nighttime gel and wait approximately 15 minutes after application, before use.
