FIWA komp® Gauze Compresses - Reliable Wound Care
FIWA komp® gauze compresses are characterized by their 12-ply structure and a size of 10 x 20 cm. They consist of 17-ply gauze according to DIN 14079, made of 100% cotton with folded edges. They are indispensable, especially for general wound care.
Diverse applications
Gauze compresses are particularly suitable for the initial treatment of wounds that are dirty, infected, or exuding. As swabs or compresses, they can be used in minor surgical procedures in outpatient clinics or on wards. External application is performed without the use of radiopaque contrast media.
Important NOTE
Before the compresses come into contact with open wounds, they must be sterilized using a validated procedure. This ensures the necessary hygiene and safety during wound treatment.
