Description
Advanced cream formula that, thanks to its components, helps improve the appearance of scars (hypertrophic scars, skin thickening and/or keloids) secondary to surgical interventions or harmful injuries of various types.
The silicone components of Kaloidon TiO2 form a gas-permeable, flexible and impermeable film that promotes proper skin hydration. In addition, the presence of exclusively physical sunscreens (micronized titanium dioxide) allows the formation of a barrier that guarantees adequate protection of the scar against sunlight, which often causes poor healing and possible darkening.
Allium cepa (onion) extract, with a high content of quercetin and its glucosides (guaranteed to exceed 10%), promotes proper healing and reduces redness and itching of developing tissue. The presence of allantoin contributes to the formula's soothing effect on scars.
On particularly thickened scars, Kaloidon TiO2 can also be applied as a compress.

How to use
It is used after the removal of sutures, on intact skin. Apply a thin layer of the product to clean and dry skin, two or more times a day, in an amount sufficient to cover the affected area. It is recommended to use before sun exposure. It is also recommended to use Kaloidon TiO2 continuously for at least two months on newly formed scars; on existing scars and keloids, it is recommended to continue applying for three to six months, possibly with a compress.

warnings
The use of the product is contraindicated in cases of known hypersensitivity to any of the components. For external use only. Do not swallow. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if the packaging is damaged (if the aluminum seal on the neck of the tube is missing).

Conservation
Store in a cool, dry place, away from heat sources.
Shelf life in intact packaging: 36 months.
Shelf life after opening: 12 months.
