Cinnamon essential oil, 10 ml, Adams Vision

Cinnamon essential oil is extracted from Cinnamomum zeylanicum of the Lauraceae family.
This spicy essential oil has great value in aromatherapy and the fight against exhaustion and feelings of depression and weakness. It has strong anti-rheumatic properties, is useful in the digestive system, while also fighting against colds and flu.
Oil properties:
Cinnamon leaf oil has a warm, spicy musky smell and the color of the oil varies from yellow for the leaf oil to red-brown for the bark oil, which is not usually used in aromatherapy. The viscosity of the oil is medium to watery.
Origin:
Native to Indonesia, but cultivated in Sri Lanka and India, the tree has a rust color and can grow up to 15 meters, but for commercial reasons, it is kept at a height of up to 2 meters.
The tree has glossy, green leaves and small, white flowers with oval, purple fruits. The bark is light brown and has a papery appearance, with thick tips that roll inside each other, and is harvested every 2 years.
The therapeutic properties of cinnamon oil are: analgesic, antiseptic, antibiotic, antispasmodic, aphrodisiac, astringent, insecticide, stimulant, tonic and vermifuge.
Method of use in aromatherapy:
The scented candle (lamp) is used in cases of acute bronchitis and colds, as well as to help with depression and feelings of weakness. For this, put warm water in the candle's saucer, add 3-5 drops of oil and light the candle.
Bath - diluted in water, cinnamon oil is used to help with problems related to bronchitis, diarrhea, chills, infections, flu, rheumatism and arthritis. Due to its very strong antiseptic properties, it is suitable for combating any infectious diseases, it is also very beneficial in calming spasms of the digestive tract and relieves nausea and vomiting. The oil is added before starting the bath and not earlier, because due to the heat it evaporates very easily. Thus, for a bath, put 4-6 drops of essential oil (or 4-6 drops of mixture) in 2-3 tablespoons of non-fat milk or 2 tablespoons of base oil, then pour the composition into the tub and mix well. The bath will last 10-20 minutes.
Although it is traditionally used to remove warts, it is not recommended to be added to skin care products.
