Gauze compresses made of cotton gauze
The 12-ply compresses are made of 17-thread cotton gauze conforming to DIN EN 14079 VM17, Ph.Eur. The folded edge prevents fraying, and they do not contain any radiopaque thread. These gauze compresses are characterized by their high absorbency, softness, and breathability, and are available both sterile (steam sterilized at 134°C) and non-sterile.
Areas of application
The wide range of applications for these gauze compresses lies in general wound care. They are frequently used as a carrier for ointments, as well as for covering and cleaning wounds.
