Vitamin D

Vitamin D is produced in the skin through exposure to sunlight. The UVB radiation that creates vitamin D in the skin does not pass through clouds and is sometimes reflected by the ozone layer, so it does not reach us. If we expose our whole body to the sun and tan (UVA radiation), we do not get vitamin D. The most UVB radiation for obtaining this vitamin is between 10 am and 4 pm in the summer. The amount of vitamin D created is reduced by protective creams, frequent baths in hot water, covering the body, dry skin of the elderly and polluted air. In food, vitamin D can be found in fish oil, liver, egg yolk and milk.

Dosage

Take 1 capsule a day during a meal with a glass of water.
