Transparent protective film for wounds and catheter insertion sites

3M Tegaderm Film is a transparent, sterile, and elastic polyurethane film with a latex-free, hypoallergenic polyacrylate adhesive, making it particularly suitable for sensitive skin. Instructions for use

The Tegaderm film is applied to the appropriately prepared skin or wound area to be protected and gently pressed down to ensure good adhesion of the polyacrylate adhesive. It can be used directly as a primary dressing or as a secondary layer over another wound dressing. When securing medical devices, such as intravenous catheters, the film is positioned to securely cover and stabilize the device. Application should be carried out according to the instructions of a healthcare professional.
