The common nettle (ac. Urtica dioica) is a synanthropic plant, that is, it is found in the human environment. Its characteristic feature is the wax on its leaves and stems, filled with formic acid, which is why when we touch the nettle, we feel an irritation of the skin, which is said to be a burning sensation. The properties of the nettle and I often use it. Currently, it is used as an infusion or served with food, for example as an ingredient in salads. It is also increasingly added to juices and purees. The substances contained in nettle affect:
