Tasting tips: ceremonial matcha tea is enjoyed with the right equipment: a Chawan ceremonial bowl, a Chasen whisk and a Chashaku Matcha spoon. Measure the dose of powder with the Chashaku spoon, then gently place the powder in the Chawan ceremonial bowl. Pour a quarter cup (60ml) of hot water (70°C) over the tea. Mix with a whisk (bamboo whisk) until it becomes foamy.
You can also enjoy the tea in a simple way, pour 60 ml of water over a teaspoon of matcha powder and mix well.
