Application of the boso BS 90 blood pressure monitor

To measure blood pressure accurately, a relaxed and comfortable position is crucial. Sit in an armchair with armrests or at a table so that you can rest your arms slightly bent. Make sure you don't cross your legs and that your back and arms are well supported. The cuff must be positioned on your upper arm at heart level.

To begin the measurement, remove any clothing from your left arm and place your forearm on the table. You can feel your pulse approximately 2.5 cm above the bend of your elbow on the inside of your upper arm. Ensure that rolled-up clothing does not restrict blood circulation and remove any tight clothing before taking the measurement.

Place the open cuff over your arm so that the lower edge is approximately 2 to 3 cm above the bend of your elbow. The rubber tubes should point downwards. The built-in membrane in the cuff should be positioned precisely over the previously determined pulse point to ensure clear and loud arterial sounds. Be sure to remain calm and relaxed during the measurement and do not speak.
