Doctor Life sodium butyrate contains 71% butyric acid - 710 mg per daily serving (3 times more than competitors' products) . Sodium butyrate, i.e. the sodium salt of butyric acid. Butyric acid occurs naturally in the digestive tract as a product of fiber fermentation by gut bacteria. Sodium butyrate is the basic source of energy for intestinal epithelial cells (enterocytes) , which supports their regeneration and proper functioning. Strengthens the intestinal barrier .
