Prontosan Acute Wound Gel is a sterile hydrogel for the gentle cleansing, moisturizing, and cooling of superficial wounds and burns. It was specially developed to care for the wound surface while providing a pleasant, cooling sensation. Its gel-like consistency allows for precise application and ensures it adheres well to the affected area.

Applications and properties

This wound gel is suitable for treating superficial wounds, such as minor skin injuries, as well as for the care of superficial burns. Application

Apply Prontosan Acute Wound Gel directly to the superficial wound or burn as needed. Ensure the affected area is thoroughly cleaned beforehand according to standard hygiene practices. The gel can be applied in a sufficient layer to completely cover the wound surface. Reapply as required, for example, after changing a dressing or when the gel appears to be running low.
