Aquacel Foam Pro

Aquacel Foam Pro is a gently adhesive silicone foam dressing that combines the proven properties of silicone foam dressings with the unparalleled advantages of Hydrofiber technology.

Indications:
Aquacel Foam Pro is suitable for the treatment of acute and chronic, moderately exuding wounds, e.g.:

• Leg ulcer
• Pressure ulcers
• Diabetic foot ulcers
• Surgical wounds
• Traumatic wounds

Aquacel Foam Pro can be used as a primary dressing for superficial wounds and as a secondary dressing for deep wounds in combination with a wound filler, e.g. Aquacel Extra or Aquacel Ag+ Extra.

Exudate volume:
Moderate.

Aquacel Foam Pro is designed to protect sensitive skin from damage caused by moisture, shear forces, and friction with a gentle yet effective silicone contact layer. Aquacel Foam Pro is also designed to create a moist environment for wound healing while effectively managing excess exudate that can further damage the wound bed and surrounding skin.

Intended purpose:
Aquacel Foam Pro foam dressings can be used under medical supervision to treat exuding and non-exuding wounds and to protect intact skin. The Aquacel Foam Pro foam dressing can be used as part of a comprehensive care protocol to protect intact skin from further damage.

Contraindications:
Aquacel Foam Pro foam dressings should not be used if there is a known intolerance to the dressing or its components. Do not use Aquacel Foam Pro foam dressings with oxidizing agents such as hydrogen peroxide or hypochlorite solutions.
