The essence of azalea gives off a balsamic, herbaceous smell, with subtle floral notes, appreciated in perfumery. In aromatherapy, it is considered to have a strong energetic action, being used for stimulating and revitalizing the body, emotional balancing.
Azalea is a plant native to the Himalayas, known for its vividly colored flowers and intoxicating fragrance that covers the hills and mountainous regions of Bhutan and central Nepal. In the native areas, the extract of the plant is used in sacred rituals but also to relieve pain or liver disorders. The essential oil extracted from this plant is used in aromatherapy to stimulate the nervous system, release emotional suffering, reconnect with the self, "bloom" the heart, find inner joy and reconciliation. The perfume of azalea essential oil is an interesting and unique one, combining balsamic and herbaceous notes with floral, sour, slightly earthy notes, which develop a different smell on the skin depending on the skin chemistry.

Method of obtaining:
By steam distillation from inflorescences, aerial parts.

How to use:
- it is a product that is not used as such on the skin, only as an ingredient in cosmetic preparations and compositions for aromatherapy;
- diluted with vegetable oil, applied by massaging along the spine;
- as a perfume ingredient in cosmetic compositions dedicated to skin care in the usual concentration of 0.5-2%;
- as an ingredient for perfuming shower gels, shampoos and other hygiene products;
- together with other essences with top, middle and base notes, to create liquid or solid perfumes, deodorants;
- in the aromatherapeutic lamp or vaporizer to favor meditation and relaxation, for perfuming the environment together with other essential oils.
