These 12-ply gauze compresses are made of 17-thread cotton gauze conforming to DIN EN 14079 VM17, Ph.Eur. A characteristic feature is their folded-over cut edge, which prevents the formation of loose threads. No radiopaque thread is used.
Characteristics
The high absorbency, softness, and breathability of the gauze compresses are particularly noteworthy. They are available in both sterile (steam-sterilized at 134°C) and non-sterile versions.
Areas of application
