Irigasin is a medical device intended for the preparation of a solution for hitting the nose and sinuses. Irigasin allows you to prepare both isotonic and hypertonic solutions, depending on the needs of the patient.

Isotonic sodium chloride solution cleans the nasal cavities of residual secretions, bacteria, viruses and allergens, and also cares for the nose and sinuses in case of:

- acute or chronic inflammation of the paranasal sinuses,

- nasal congestion due to infection or allergy,

- before and after nose and sinus surgery,

- after exposure to high concentrations of dust in the air,

- preventive to maintain proper hygiene of the nose and sinuses

An additional advantage of the isotonic solution is its moisturizing effect on the nasal mucosa that is dry as a result of long-term use of nasal medications or as a result of staying in air-conditioned or excessively heated rooms.

The hypertonic solution of sodium chloride, in addition to its cleansing effect due to the higher concentration of the active substance, has osmotic properties due to which it reduces swelling of the mucous membrane. That is why it is recommended for nasal swelling associated with rhinitis due to infection or allergy (hay fever), as well as sinusitis.

Special warnings and recommended precautions: Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to sodium chloride. If the symptoms of rhinitis or sinusitis worsen, consult your doctor. Do not use in case of complete blockage of the nose, preventing the exit of the solution. Do not use in case of infection or blocked ear. If you have had ear surgery, consult your doctor before use. After the irrigation is completed, there may be a slight discharge of the remaining solution from the nose when it is tilted. Do not use later than one hour before bedtime. Immediately after irrigation, you should not take a bath for an hour, so that the remaining solution does not enter the ear. Children can use the product on their own only under the supervision of an adult. The possibility of use in children under 4 years of age should be consulted with a doctor.
