N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine ^{​​Kenay®} is a food supplement in the form of capsules containing NAC - a highly biologically active form of L-Cysteine. Each capsule contains 150 mg of an amino acid derivative for use as a supplement to the daily diet of adults.

Cysteine ​​is an organic chemical compound from the group of endogenous protein amino acids. Together with homocysteine ​​and methionine, it forms a group of amino acids with sulfur. The acetyl derivative of cysteine ​​NAC is a precursor for the synthesis of glutathione, which is mainly concentrated in the liver.
