Leukomed skin sensitive is a sterile wound dressing for the particularly gentle care of postoperative and traumatic wounds. It was specially developed for people with sensitive or fragile skin who require gentle fixation. The transversely elastic polyester nonwoven fabric adapts well to movement and ensures a comfortable fit. The integrated wound pad is suitable for wounds with light to moderate exudate and supports hygienic coverage of the wound area.

Areas of application

This dressing is suitable for treating wounds after surgery and for various skin injuries (traumatic wounds) when gentle yet secure coverage is required. Leukomed skin sensitive is particularly the right choice when the patient's skin is sensitive or has a fragile structure.

Application

Apply the dressing only to a clean, properly treated wound. Remove the sterile dressing from the packaging and position it so that the wound pad completely covers the wound. Then, gently press down the elastic polyester fleece to ensure a good fit against the skin. The dressing should be changed according to the instructions of the healthcare professional or as the wound requires.

Leukomed skin sensitive consists of a soft polyester nonwoven fabric with a silicone coating. The wound dressing consists of a viscose nonwoven fabric coated with polypropylene.
