CDP-choline from international literature:

CDP-choline (Cytidinediphosphocholine or Citicoline) is a molecule present in the body.

It is physiologically used as a precursor in the endogenous synthesis of phospholipids in the membrane of nerve cells, while also participating in the maturation processes of visual function.

CDP-choline is also used by nerve cells to synthesize acetylcholine, which is essential for the propagation of visual signals.

It has been shown that, in cases of impaired visual function, specific and prolonged administration of CDP-choline improves the transmission of electrical impulses from the retina to the brain.

Ingredients:

One vial (10 ml): CDP-choline 500 mg

Other ingredients: sodium lactate; osmotic water; fructose; citric acid; potassium sorbate; methyl parahydroxybenzoate.

How to use:

Take one vial once a day.

Ophthalmic solution with 0.2% high molecular weight hyaluronic acid and 2% citicoline.

Indications:

The Hyaluronic Acid in Omk1® Streile Ophthalmic Solution is obtained through biotechnological synthesis and gives rise to mucomimetic, mucoadhesive and viscoelastic solutions, useful for improving the stability of the tear film, so as to keep the ocular surface lubricated, hydrated and protected.

In addition, Omk1® ophthalmic solution based on hyaluronic acid is able to establish a microenvironment favorable to ocular surface repair processes in cases of damage to the corneal and conjunctival epithelium.

Due to the presence of Citicoline, the product provides useful and favorable structural support in restoring the integrity of cell membranes damaged by degenerative ophthalmic diseases, such as Glaucoma.

The moisturizing and protective properties of Omk1® provide relief to the eyes in case of irritation, burning and foreign body sensation due to environmental factors such as wind, sun, dry air, salt water, smoke, intense light, air conditioning, heating, prolonged use of video terminals or eye surgeries, conjunctivitis or the use of contact lenses.

In addition, Omk1® ophthalmic solution, due to the presence of Citicoline and its structural action on retinal ganglion cells, is indicated as an adjunct to antihypertensive therapy in glaucomatous patients.
