PermaFoam Classic is a foam dressing consisting of a hydrophilic polymer in a three-dimensional structure that effectively absorbs wound exudate and maintains a moist wound environment. Versions with an adhesive border have a surrounding surface coated with polyacrylate adhesive.
Application:
PermaFoam Classic is a sterile, drug-free polyurethane foam dressing for single use. It is suitable for highly to moderately exuding acute and chronic wounds, e.g., leg ulcers, pressure ulcers (stages II-IV), diabetic foot syndrome, donor sites after blood donation, abrasions, and incisions.
