Superabsorbent wound dressing

Vliwasorb Pro is a superabsorbent dressing for moderately to very highly exuding wounds. Its very high absorbency and retention capacity protect wound edges from maceration. Furthermore, it maintains a moist wound environment, which supports wound healing. Odor formation during treatment is reduced. Proteases (e.g., MMPs, elastase) are reduced*. The ergonomic and flexible design of Vliwasorb Pro allows for easy and safe application. Additionally, the blue protective layer prevents contamination of clothing and bedding.

Areas of application:
Moderately to very heavily exuding wounds, superficial wounds that are acute or chronic, such as:

• Pressure ulcers, arterial ulcers, venous leg ulcers, diabetic ulcers
• Post-operative secondarily healing wounds
• post-traumatic wounds
• Split-thickness skin graft donor sites
• oncological wounds
• ulcerating tumors
• wounds at risk of infection
• Second-degree superficial burns
• as well as a secondary dressing, e.g. on laparotomy wounds and fistulas.
