Wet inhalation is a traditional method used to clear the upper airways with essential oils .
The volatile compounds of essential oils are transported by water vapor and inhaled. They penetrate the body following the path of the air and come into contact with the respiratory mucosa (nose, paranasal sinuses, throat, lungs).
Activox® inhalation tablets contain a combination of rosemary, red thyme and lavender essential oils known to clear the upper airways.
This product should be used in addition to traditional treatments for upper respiratory disorders.
Thanks to their experience in the field of phytotherapy, Arkopharma laboratories have specially developed Activox® Inhalation Tablets: a formula based on Peru balsam and 3 essential oils rigorously selected by the Group's experts.

3 essential oils to breathe better:

- Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis). A perennial shrub native to the scrublands, garrigues and rocky areas of the Mediterranean basin, rosemary is now widespread almost everywhere in temperate climates with mild winters. In aromatherapy, the essential oil extracted from rosemary is commonly used for its tonic properties and to clear the respiratory tract.
- Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia). Lavender belongs to the Lamiaceae family. These shrubs are famous for their highly fragrant flowers and aromatic evergreen foliage. The essential oil extracted from lavender is known for its relaxing and calming effect.
- Red thyme (Thymus zygis). It is a thyme morphologically very similar to common thyme, well scented, but with a more delicate flavour. Red thyme essential oil is known for its action on the immune system.
Balsam of Peru (Balsamum peruvianum). Balsam of Peru owes its name to a tree, the balsam, which grows in Colombia, San Salvador and Venezuela and which was once transported through Peru. This balm can be used as a purifying agent in case of ENT disorders.
