Trimix eye drops are indicated for the protection, hydration and lubrication of the eyes. Thanks to its ingredients, it provides a high level of hydration to the surface of the eye, relieving symptoms of dry eyes and eye irritation.
Forms of release
Trimix eye drops are available in 8 ml bottles.
Indications for use
Trimix eye drops are recommended for dry and irritated eyes, after eye surgery, prolonged exposure to digital screens, prolonged exposure to dry or air-conditioned environments, and prolonged exposure to sunlight. Trimix ophthalmic contains cross-linked hyaluronic acid, trehalose and liposomes with sterilamine. These ingredients work together to moisturise and lubricate the surface of the eye, restoring the physiological properties of the ocular surface.
Dosage and administration
Trimix is applied to the eye – instill 1-2 drops in each eye once or several times a day, or as recommended by your doctor. Do not touch your eyes or the surrounding area with the tip of the bottle. Do not touch the tip of the bottle with your fingers. Close the bottle tightly after each use.
Contraindications
Do not use Trimix drops if you are allergic or sensitive to any of the ingredients in the product.
Interactions with other medicines and food
No interactions with other medicines or products are known. Do not use multiple eye products at the same time without your doctor's approval. If multiple eye products are used as directed by your doctor, allow at least 10 minutes between applications.
Side effects
Trimix is generally safe and does not cause side effects. Mild irritation may rarely occur. If you experience any side effects, stop using the product and consult your doctor.
Overdose
There are no known cases of overdose. However, it is recommended to use the product in the doses recommended by your doctor or as indicated on the packaging, without using it more often or in excess.
Storage
Store the bottle in a cool place, away from moisture and heat. Do not use after the date stated on the packaging.

Does Trimix affect your ability to drive?
Trimix does not affect your ability to drive.
Can I use Trimix if I wear contact lenses?
Yes, Trimix drops can also be used while wearing contact lenses.
How many days after opening the bottle can I use Trimix drops?
Use within 30 days of opening the bottle.
Trimix or ActyLID?
Trimix is a moisturising and lubricating eye drop product. ActyLID is an ophthalmic lipogel indicated for cleaning the eyelids.
Trimix or Visine?
While Trimix is indicated for moisturising and lubricating the eyes, Visine is an eye decongestant that reduces swelling and redness of the eyes in cases of eye allergies or irritation not caused by bacterial infection, foreign bodies or conjunctivitis. It reduces burning, discomfort and itching in the eyes, and its active ingredient is tetryzoline hydrochloride.
Trimix or Systane Complete?
Like Trimix, Systane Complete relieves symptoms of dry eyes with a moisturising and soothing effect. It also protects and promotes the restoration of the tear film. The active ingredient in Systane Complete is propylene glycol.
Trimix or Maxidex?
These two types of drops have different ingredients and completely different modes of action. Trimix moisturises and lubricates the eye, while Maxidex is indicated for treating inflammation of the surface of the eyes and the frontal areas of the eyes. The active substance is dexamethasone.
